Structural characteristics
1. The composite diaphragm separates the lower inner cavity of the valve body from the inner cavity of the valve cover, and forms a direct flow channel with it, completely isolating the valve stem, valve disc and other internal components of the upper part of the diaphragm from the medium, eliminating the need for packing sealing structure, and avoiding both internal and external leakage of the medium.
2. As an actuator, the diaphragm is prone to fatigue fracture due to frequent opening and closing, and should be replaced regularly according to the working conditions and medium characteristics.
3. The diaphragm made of FEP (Teflon) fluoroplastic and synthetic rubber composite, as well as the valve with Feflon fluoroplastic lining layer, can be suitable for various highly corrosive media except for "molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine".

4. The anti-corrosion performance and recommended usage temperature of fluoroplastics can be found in the "Performance Table of Fluoroplastic Lining for Valves and Pipeline Accessories".
